Oh Santa….

Some people think I’m a tough guy.  Some people think I’m a ladies’ man. Some people say I’m just a dandy, a fop, a fashionista. Yes, I have 5 toes and feathered feet. Yes, my head feathers are simply exquisite. (well, they are!). Yes, I have girlfriends (although my precious Lucy died of old age not so long ago). But I’m still a Very Serious Rooster. I take roostering to the next level. My crow is second to none, and I strut about like nobody’s business. But this time last year, it was not so. I was inside in the rehab unit.  You see, someone had found me on the side of the road, hobbling, with feathers missing all over. I was a mess. It turned out that my leg was broken, but it healed with time, and …. look at me now! Isn’t it grand to get a second chance!?

Santa: the ducks. They are cute, they really are. I like them and they don’t bother my sweet Magnolia. But they make our drinking water so dirty. If we had our very own dainty chicken-cups for water, I feel sure our water would stay cleaner (ducks need to dip their whole entire head in the bucket, who knows what is going on there). https://tinyurl.com/watering-cups-for-samson

So… you know …. (and yes, you know I’m about to make a big “ask”): we have the setup in our coop for fans, heat lamps, and heated water but we need some (I guess, expensive) components to make it all work. I’m just a chicken, really, so I don’t comprehend the full story here, but I do know that we need “wiring, conduit, connectors, cables, and an electrical box.” Do you know anyone who would help with this project, Santa? You do?  Oh, please send them our way!
