Howdy doody, Mr. Saint Nick! I’m Cosmo and I’m feelin pretty good here, especially seeing as I get to write to your very own self today! Santa (that’s your nickname, right? Mine is Cosmo Kramer), I am a very cheerful fella – not much can get me down, no sir!  That’s an important characteristic for a goat. Did you know that studies have shown that goats are the most optimistic creatures on the planet?  What studies, you ask? Well, ah, you know, GOAT studies. We’ve conducted some here on the farm, if you must know.

Santa I have a sister and everyone is always saying, “aww she’s so cute.”  Yeah, OK, she’s cute all right, but I’m the outgoing one. I’M the one who gets into the house and makes sure cookies are tossed out at everyone (I am learning human language and I think “get out, OUT, get out!” means “everyone, come here, come come, yodelayheehoo, cookie time!”).

Guess where my favorite place to be is?! Yep! On top of the hay bale!  I love to have a room with a view, and I can also pick out the tastiest bits of hay from up there where no one else can see what I’m doing. But when it’s time for my siesta, I like to be leaning against the hay bale. It’s so tall and cozy. The thing is, sometimes the wind whips in and makes me cold so I figure I need a wind break. (Hey, can I ask for one for Harriet and Faith, too. They forgot and made me put them in here, in MY letter. Sigh, they’re chickens, so I mean, seriously, what else would you expect?)
