Mr. Saint Nicholas!

I am Big Al the rabbit!  I am really such a nice rabbit. And I have cool ears – it looks like I’m an airplane coming in for the landing, whooooosh!

I might just be the nicest rabbit here (no offense, Dexter).  I’m big and cuddly and soft.  I have one bad habit: I love to mess around in the cat’s litter box.  I throw the litter all over the room, and it’s SOOO much fun!

So Santa, I have been a widower for over a year but I have learned that I have a blind date set up to meet a new gal in February, and I can’t wait!  I have missed cuddling with a lady since my Zoe girl passed away.

In the meantime, I would love to have some comfort snacks – you know how that goes, right? It’s late on a Saturday night, nothing going on, dogs have stopped barking, humans are zoned out in front of the television, the other rabbits are snoozing next to each other and there I am, alone.  A widower rabbit. Gosh it’s just so gloomy. BUT … snacking would be just the thing to take away the blues.  Here are a few snacks I really like!

All right, well we can’t mope around all day, so let’s get down to business.  This rabbit room is dusty.  It’s always dusty. I mean, rabbits kick up the dust, don’t they! And we shed. We shed non-stop. Happily we have waitstaff here who serve us breakfast and dinner (hey, what happened to lunch!?), and they also tidy up. I’d like them to do more dusting.  It’s better for my sensitive nose. Here is a wonderful set of dusting tools that I think I can convince the waitstaff to start using:  http://tinyurl.com/dusters-for-al

Also, our broom is shot to pieces.  OK, yeah, I might have chewed on the ends a bit, but even so it’s seriously old. We need an updated broom to keep our room spic and span:  http://tinyurl.com/broom-and-dustpan-for-al

Santa, I surely do appreciate your reading my letter.  There are not many rabbits in the world who have the honor of being able to write you. However, I’m gonna start a campaign next year because we rabbits need more of a voice. We’re so quiet that people don’t realize what deep feelings we have. We’re smart and we’re funny and we prefer to live with a friend we can snuggle with. Please stop people from keeping rabbits cooped up all alone in those horrible tiny outdoor hutches. It’s cold and depressing and really inhumane. Rabbits need to run!

Finally, would you please find me a sponsor – I will sit on their lap and be very sweet and I don’t bite like Ruth the rabbit does.   https://shop.stargazingfarm.org/product/al/

Aww, thank you Sants for being you and for being kind to animals.

Your friend,

Big Al
