Sarah May
How lovely of you to receive my letter this year. It’s my first time writing you. I never had a secretary before who would help me with the transcription. I’m so grateful to be alive, Santa. I lived on a farm where the remaining sheep were going to be sent to market, but because of my arthritis, I could not go, yet my owner was so sorry for me he didn’t know what to do. I’m so lucky that Farmer Anne came to shear the sheep and saw me and said, “Oh my, Sarah May, you belong at our farm!”
I’m pretty old, Santa, but oh my goodness do I love to eat! Every day we old folks get some of this high calorie, easy-to-chew chopped hay. Would you make sure we have enough in stock so that we always have a bucketful to munch on? It helps us keep our weight up. https://tinyurl.com/chopped-hay-for-sarah
Every day I am fed hot meals along with some grain, but Sheila Louise often tries to steal my food. We do not have many of these small bowls but they are very useful. https://tinyurl.com/rubber-bowls-for-sarah They are just the right size for my meals and my nose – and if my nose is in the bowl, why, Sheila Louise can’t put hers in there!
This time of year it’s a bit chilly. We have a very nice safe heat lamp in our barn, and to make sure we don’t have to worry about getting cold, could you please send us some replacement bulbs? I know that’s not a very exciting gift, but it is practical, and I’m a practical ewe. https://tinyurl.com/heat-lamp-bulbs-for-sarah
If you want to give an exciting gift, you could help sponsor my wheelchair! The cost will be approximately $672. I’m really hoping I can go wheeling around the farm with Herbie, whose wheelchair just arrived! Then again, you could also just send a sponsor for me, just for being me 🙂 https://shop.stargazingfarm.org/product/sarah-may/ Oh Santa, how nice and kind you are to listen to the animals, for we do have so much to say.
Love,
Sarah May
