Oh Mr. Santa,  how happy I am to be here.  No, really!  Did you know I had an emergency a few weeks ago. Everyone was so scared.  I’m fine now, in case you didn’t notice. But … because I can’t see, I bit onto something and got my teeth caught.  I pulled back and…. it was not nice.  There was blood and it hurt so bad in my mouth. The volunteers gasped and Farmer Anne said she almost fainted (that’s a story, if I ever heard one).  Anyhow, I went to the hospital and that was a nice thing – such lovely vets and students with soft voices.  They fixed my mouth (actually they took out some teeth, but don’t tell anyone).  But here is the thing: it was kind of hard for them to get me in and out of the cab of the truck.  I think I heard Farmer Anne grunt something like “fat”.  I didn’t like the sound of that.  What about this ramp? https://tinyurl.com/ramp-for-ray

Jethro went out on an outing the other day, and Farmer Anne also grunted “fat” again (she needs to learn to have some filters) as she lifted him up into the truck. He could have used this ramp, too. Any time we go to the hospital, this would help so so much.  It’s a little pricey, but it holds up to 300 pounds. I think I weigh about 250. By the way, I’m not fat.  I’m husky!

Santa, the volunteers here are very sweet and clean up all the time. But we only have one good rake left.  I really don’t like laying on bits of goat poop (they are hard and also have cooties), so another good rake or two would help the volunteers get all that goat poop out of our sleeping area. Did you know it’s very hard to find a good rake these days? This is the only one we’ve found that actually works on a farm.  https://tinyurl.com/large-rake-for-ray

Sometimes the volunteers have to rake around small corners – this smaller rake would be so great for that! https://tinyurl.com/small-rake-for-ray

Mr. Santa, I may not be able to see but I still have good taste! I like eating and drinking out of clean buckets.  Our buckets are scrubbed every day, but after a while they start to smell a bit … old. We could really use some new ones in different colors (we color code the feed buckets, don’t you know). Here are some options – you can choose!

I would love to have a sponsor.  It is so nice when people come to the farm JUST to see me, and if they sponsor me they will get a beautiful photo and my personal story.  Here is how to do it!

I hope I haven’t asked for too much. You know, I’m a very community-minded sheep and every single thing I’ve asked you for will help the other animals.  Thank you for reading my letter!

Love,
