Oh dearest Santa,  this is Hazel.  You remember me?  I was that teeny, tiny piglet who zoomed around everywhere and could fit in a cat carrier.  Yep.  They thought I was a mini pig. A what?  No such beast, at least if you feed her.  So here I am, a full grown pig, 200 some pounds and happy as happy can be with my best friend George who snuggles with me at night.

Santa, I eat very healthy food (no really, I do!)  Farmer Anne cooks us pigs vegetable stews so we get lots of vitamins every day.  Sometimes she adds in some canned food, too, which we love – pigs love smushy food we can slurp.  Like this pumpkin:  https://tinyurl.com/pumpkin-for-hazel and this butternut squash! https://tinyurl.com/squash-for-hazel

Sometimes she cooks up a lot and freezes it, but a certain canine named Stephanie has gotten ahold of some of our (admittedly, cheap, tupperware) so we are in need of more to keep our stews fresh.  These 24 oz ones would be really great! https://tinyurl.com/tupperware-for-hazel

Lest you think I’m a selfish piggy, I have a request for our dear volunteers! They really need a paper towel holder for their volunteer room (if I had an apple for every time I’ve heard someone shout, “hey, where are the paper towels!?”…)  https://tinyurl.com/paper-towel-holder-for-hazel

Santa, there is a beautiful ornament for sale in our gift shop with my name on it!  You can buy this and put it on your tree or give it as a gift to your favorite pig lover!

And, of course, I need a sponsor.  In fact, I’m not sure I have had a sponsor since I grew up.  Yes, I know, I was a very cute little piglet but I’m a very nice adult pig now who needs just as much love as she did when she was a little zoomie zoomie! https://shop.stargazingfarm.org/product/hazel/

So nice to see you, Mr. Santa!  Till next time and the weather is warm and we can go swimming together!
