Santa dearest,

I have been such a wonderfully good cat this year.  I keep the old animals company, I swish my tail along the faces of all the dogs, making them feel special, and I decorate the farm with my inescapable beauty.  I can only think of one possible naughty thing, but it was all my sister Maria’s fault.  We really don’t need to talk about it, now do we?

Santa darling, as you may know, I am an outside cat by choice.  Occasionally I go to the door and peek in, but then I say, no, rather not.  I like the freedom of going where I want, when I want. Now, this means that I do need to keep myself well nourished, and no, I am not going to eat any mice.  Have you ever tasted one?  They really have quite a nasty flavor.  So – treats are a must for me!  We all love the “Temptations” treats and I might even share with Maria, once in a while, if she stops picking fights with me.  https://tinyurl.com/treats-for-evelyn

I have a new friend named Sport.  He is a very handsome cat who is slowly becoming a bit less scared of people.  He likes me a lot (well, I am the most beautiful cat in the neighborhood), and we share our meals together.  Just to make sure we have enough and don’t run out (those vultures Oliver and Gladys come sometimes and just help themselves to our food, the nerve!), I think we should use technology!  Have a look at this slick (and highly rated by other cat customers) auto-feeder!  https://tinyurl.com/auto-feeder-for-evelyn

This will be placed in our “tree house”, a really nice building off the ground where the dogs cannot get to our food.  Now, it’s getting to be quite cold out, and while I often will bed down amongst the hay bales or up in the barn, I do think that two other options might be quite nice.  One is a sort of tent.  Like we’re camping out!  It is nice and cozy and can help keep me warm.  Or Sport, if he wants to share with me <wink>.  https://tinyurl.com/cat-tent-for-evelyn
